If you are unable to participate or if you need to cancel for any reason, please notify Handmade Arcade as soon as possible. We cannot refund booth fees (including extra costs for electricity) for cancellations made after June 6, 2026.

Free Advertising For Black Makers

As part of our commitment to address gaps in sales between Black and non-Black makers that were reported after the 2024 and 2025 Holiday Market, Handmade Arcade will provide a free social media advertisement for all Black makers participating in this year's Emerging Craft Market. This benefit will include an image carousel (up to 10 images) plus a caption posted to Handmade Arcade's Instragram and Facebook feeds leading up to the Emerging Craft Market.

Please upload up to ten images (images will be cropped to 1080 x 1350 for Instagram).

Please label the files in order of how you want us to post them in your carousel (i.e. Photo1, Photo2, etc.)

Please share the caption about you, your business, and your products that you would like us to share with your photos for the post.

When your post is live, we will tag you and invite you to be a collaborator on Instagram.

Tables

Each booth includes a borrowed 6 or 7 ft table. The size of the table will be randomly assigned on-site. Makers may alternatively decline the use of the borrowed table and bring their own. Please indicate your choice below so we can rent the appropriate number of tables.

Special Requests

Maker Load-In will be Friday, August 28 from 4 PM - 7 PM. The booth map and assigned load-in times will be provided in early August.

Please feel free to share any special requests about booth placement or load-in time times below. This includes requests for placement near another maker, specific load-in time requests due to work or caregiving needs, etc. We will review all requests but cannot guarantee that requests will be fulfilled unless they are an accessibility accomodation.

Note: Requests to be placed near another maker's booth MUST be mutual. Both makers must request to be placed next to each other on their maker needs form.

Certificate of Insurance

As per the Maker Terms & Conditions, Accepted Makers are required to maintain appropriate insurance. Many makers use craft show insurance like the ACT Go coverage. Insurance must list yourself and/or your business and your business address as the policy holder. If your insurance provider asks who should be listed as additionally insured, please name Handmade Arcade (Address: 4885-A McKnight Road #304, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).

Important Note: Last year, some makers found that they weren't able to purchase a Certificate of Insurance until close to the event weekend. If that is the case, please upload a placeholder document stating that you will provide your Certificate of Insurance by August 1 at the latest. It is the responsibility of individual makers to provide their Certificate of Insurance to Handmade Arcade. Late Certificates of Insurance must be submitted by the maker directly via email, as a PDF attachment, to makers@handmadearcade.org.

Failure to provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to the Emerging Craft Market may result in you being unable to participate in this year's market and other future Handmade Arcade events.

Handmade Business Policy

I understand that I may not use mass-produced, trademarked, or licensed items in my work. I understand that I may not use copyrighted designs that I don't own in my work. I understand that my products must be at least 80% of my original creation. I understand that my products cannot be made with purchased, downloaded or copied images or designs. I understand that violations of this definition of a handmade business will be documented, shared with me, and kept on file. I understand that violations may prevent me from being accepted into future Handmade Arcade markets.

Before accepting your spot in the Emerging Craft Market, please review the Terms & Conditions you agreed to when you applied.

Your signature below indicates that you read, understand, and agree to the Maker Terms & Conditions provided when you submitted your application. You understand that violation of any of these policies, before or during the event, gives Handmade Arcade the right to rescind your booth space for the event or remove you during the event without refund of the booth fee or any additional fees. You understand that violations of these policies will be documented, shared with you, and kept on file. You understand that policy violations may prevent you from being accepted into future Handmade Arcade markets.
