    Thank you for your interest in applying for to be a guest juror for Handmade Arcade. Please review the position description prior to completing your application. If you have questions, please emailEmmy McDonnell, Handmade Arcade's Program Operations Manager, at emmy@handmadearacde.org. All Guest Jurors must be available for an in-person jury meeting on Saturday, July 25 from 10 AM – 5 PM, at Riverstone Books, 5841 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA. Lunch will be provided.

    At this time, we're especially interested in jurors with expertise in the following artistic categories:

    • Bath & Body
    • Glass
    • Jewelry
    • Wood
    • Paper Goods

    We're also especially interested in jurors who are BIPOC, jurors who are part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and/or jurors who are folks with disabilities to make sure that we have a diverse group of jurors evaluating Holiday Market applications.

    1) Why are you interested in being a juror for Handmade Arcade? What skills or expertise do you bring to Handmade Arcade's team of jurors?

    2) Do you participate in any professional organizations or networking collective with other makers? If so, please describe.

    3) Do you attend six or more craft shows, markets, or maker fairs each year and have the opportunity to see a wide variety of work from diverse makers? Please describe.

    4) How would you ensure that Handmade Arcade’s core values of anti-racism, collaboration, equity, financial sustainability, and transparency are met if selected as a juror?
