WHAT: HarborWalk Village presents the 3rd Annual Hype on the Harbor
WHEN: Saturday, August 17th at 5:00PM
WHERE: HarborWalk Village, Destin, Florida

HarborWalk Village inites Okaloosa County Schools to participate in the 3rd Annual Hype on the Harbor, a district wide pep rally, to kick off the school year on the evening of Saturday, August 17th! We are excited to host our local schools and their students for the second year. Each school will have the opportunity to create their own one-of-a-kind pep rally utilizing student groups such as dance team, cheer team, drumline, footbal, team, mascot, etc. to shocase their school spirit!

Each school will be given a timeslot for a 20-25 minute mini pep really on the main stage. Spirit competitions, mascot games, and more will be intertwined with school performances. Timeline for the event will be established once ALL participating school applications are turned in.

Schools will be competing for a SPIRIT STICK! Each school brought their A Game last year and it deserves to be rewarded. Schools will have the chance to earn points through pep rally performance, school attendance, spirit, and volume throughout the pep rally in hopes to bring home the spirit stick until the next year.

Additional Details:
- Harbor Restaurants will be invited to prepare specials and "cook-out" style food on the street.
- SGA and/or spirit tents can be set up by each school to sell t-shirts and other school spirit related items.
- All operational logistics and AV/Sound needs will be provided by HarborWalk.
