    Hardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the "Pretty Darn Small: A tiny art, art show." that will be on display Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 6-10pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working in 2D & 3D media. 

    This show is inspired by The Texas Art Asylum's Tiny Show- which they discontinued and we asked permission to pick up. Thanks, Ramona Brady! 

  • SPECIFICATIONS & RESTRICTIONS:

    SIZE RESTRICTION:  All artwork MUST be 4 inches or smaller on any side. If you choose to frame your art, frames should not exceed more than an inch or so of the maximum size limit. Art can be any shape and does not have to be square as long as it meets the size restrictions.

    Artwork does not have to be framed, mounted, and/or wired for this show.

    QUANTITY:  There is a limit of 8 pieces per artist.

    ARRANGEMENT:  To maximize wall space, we most often hang the art in vertical columns. For example, if you create 8 pieces of art we will hang it in two columns of four. Consider this if you create pieces that specifically go together.

    We cannot guarantee your preferred arrangement but will do our best to accommodate it as long as it can be hung in columns.

    THEME:  Artwork may be any theme, style, and medium. No loose glitter or confetti. If using these mediums, they must be completely adhered to the surface in a manner that it will not fall off.

    PRICING YOUR ART: There is no price cap but for simplicity, we strongly encourage you to keep all of your art pieces the same price. This will make things significantly easier for everyone. Keep this in mind while creating your art.

    If you have a combination of 2D pieces on the wall and 3D pieces that will be on tables/pedestals, those groupings can be different prices.

    If you absolutely must have different prices for each piece, there will be blank labels available the day of the show that you can fill out and put up on your own.

  • SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

    Deadline to submit this form is June 10, 2026 at 11:59pm.

    We do not require images or artwork titles during the online submission.

  • ART SHOW FEE:

    The entry fee for this show is  $25.00 (flat fee) for up to eight (8) pieces of tiny art. CASH ONLY entry fee is due during drop off.

    There is NO commission fee involved and therefore artists are asked to attend the show and handle all sales transactions. Be sure to have Square, Paypal, Venmo, or other application to take credit card sales. If an artist is unable to handle any sales transactions, Hardy & Nance Studios is happy to facilitate the sale on your behalf for a 20% stipend to cover processing & handling fees.

  • THE IMPORTANT STUFF:

    1. All artwork must be original by the artist, available for purchase, and cannot have been previously shown in the Hardy & Nance Gallery.

    2. Size Restrictions: All artwork must be 4" (inches) or SMALLER on any side, including frame if applicable.

    3. Medium: Please no loose glitter or confetti. If using these mediums, they must be completely adhered to the surface in a manner that it will not fall off. Please no clunky hanging hardware.

    4. All pieces should be labeled on the back with: Artist’s Name.

    5. Drop-off: Artwork needs to be delivered on Sunday, June 14, 2026 (2-5:00p) and Monday, June 15, 2026 (5:30p-7:30p) WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Delivery accepted through Door G entrance.

    6. Pick-up: All artwork MUST be claimed/picked up at the end of the show (June 20th, 2026 at 10:00pm) or (Monday, June 22nd, 2026 5-7pm). Any art left behind will be considered abandoned and done with as H&N Studios sees fit.

    • Curators reserve the right not to hang work that does not meet the requirements as specified above.
