1.) RECEIPT OF RULES: I acknowledge, on behalf of my household, that I/we can review the most current community information, bylaws, rules and regulations, CC&Rs, and various policies on the community website (www.HeartlandTX.net). We will comply with all applicable rules and regulations.

2.) LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS: I have reviewed the landscape requirements in the community CC&Rs and Design Guidelines. It is my responsibility to maintain our landscaping and replace any dead plants.

3.) SATELLITE DISH RESTRICTION: I have reviewed the rules for the placement of satellite dishes, which must be at the rear of the home unless otherwise approved by the Architectural Review Committee. Unauthorized locations may result in penalties and relocation costs.

4.) ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Heartland is an architecturally-restricted community. Any visible improvements or modifications to residential lots require approval from the Architectural Review Committee. Please read Rules and Regulations Section 1.1: "An owner may not construct, add, alter, improve, make any structural alterations or other modifications to an Improvement that are visible from the street, Common Areas or any portion of the property are subject to the architectural guidelines and may not be changed without the approval of the Architectural Review Committee."

5.) WATER CONSERVATION RESTRICTIONS: As a member of the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), our household will adhere to current water conservation restrictions set by the NTMWD and local authorities.

6.) IMMINENT ANIMAL HAZARD: As a pet owner, I am responsible for any damage caused by my animals and will make immediate repairs to ensure the safety of others if necessary.

7.) ASSESSMENTS: As a homeowner, I acknowledge that association assessments are due on February 1st and August 1st each year. Townhome owners recognize monthly assessment obligations. Late payments may incur additional penalties.
