Important Information
Entries: Artwork must be recent work of the artist, and not previously exhibited at a Hōhepa Art and Sculpture Exhibition.
Registration Fee: $35.00
Commission: A commission of 35% will be deducted from the sale price if sold. The money raised from these commissions go towards supporting our LEAP (Learning, Exploring and Activating Potential) day programmes and therapies for people with intellectual disabilities.
Categories
- Hung artwork: Two entries per registration fee - max width 100cm (artwork and frame)
- Sculpture: Two entries per registration fee
- Miniatures: Four entries per registration fee (painted area to be no greater than 100sq cm)
Selection: Hōhepa reserves the right to deny entries. The decision of the Art Exhibition Committee is final. You will be advised of our decision by email.
Delivery Information: All artwork is to be delivered to Hōhepa between 18th - 20th May. Hōhepa open hours are: Monday - Friday, 9am - 4.30pm.
All freight to Hōhepa and any unsold work is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
All packaging must be reusable and clearly labelled with a return address, for the return of artworks. The delivery address is Hōhepa Canterbury, 23 Barrington Street, Christchurch 8024, from 9am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday.
Labelling: Name, phone number of artist, title, and selling price must be securely attached to the artwork.
Insurance: Insurance during transit and during the exhibition is the sole responsibility of the artist. While your work is in our care, every effort will be made to keep it secure.
Display: All artwork must be presented ready to be hung, complete with cord. Any specific instructions should be attached to the artwork. Sculpture - limited to 'human-power', unless otherwise negotiated.
Collection of unsold artwork: Unsold artwork must be collected during the week beginning Monday 25th May between 9am - 4.30pm.
We are happy to organise return freight, please provide prepaid NZ COURIER tickets.
