Welcome to the Official Mascot Fan Art Contest!

Each year, artists from our community re-imagine Holly and her festive friends Naughty Bunny and Nice Bunny in their own unique style. Whether your art is cozy, chaotic, or cute, we can’t wait to see how you bring the 2025 mascots to life!

Submit your fan art for a chance to win cash prizes and 3-Day Badges to Holiday Matsuri 2026 - Florida’s Largest Anime Convention!

🎨 How to Enter

1️⃣ Create Your Artwork

Feature one or more of the mascots — Holly, Naughty Bunny, and/or Nice Bunny — in an original piece.

Minimum resolution: 2400 × 2400 px · File type: .png or .jpg

2️⃣ Prepare Your Files

You may submit up to two versions of the same artwork:

1 Watermarked version (for online use)
1 Non-watermarked version (for judging)

3️⃣ Submit Your Entry

Complete this form and upload your files before the deadline. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your submission is received.

🥇 1st Place: $300 Cash + 3-Day VIP Ticket (2026)
🥈 2nd Place: $150 Cash + 3-Day Ticket (2026)
🥉 3rd Place: $100 Cash + 3-Day Ticket (2026)
4th Place: $75 Cash + 3-Day Ticket (2026)
5th Place: $50 Cash + 3-Day Ticket (2026)
6th-10th Place: 3-Day Ticket (2026)

Physical prizes must be claimed in person at Holiday Matsuri and will not be mailed.
Cash prizes for absent winners may be sent via PayPal, with transfer fees paid by the recipient.

Entries will be reviewed by HMConventions, LLC representatives and judged on:
1. Creativity and originality
2. Quality and execution
3. Adherence to the mascot theme
4. Overall impression
📜 Rules & Eligibility

Who Can Enter

Open to artists who agree to the contest rules and Grant of Rights.

Limit one (1) entry per participant during the contest period.
Participants may win only one prize per convention year.
Holiday Matsuri staff, sponsors, and RemX members are not eligible to enter.

Artwork Requirements

Must feature Holly, with optional inclusion of Naughty Bunny and/or Nice Bunny.
All artwork must be original and created solely by the entrant.
Acceptable formats: .png or .jpg
Minimum resolution: 2400 × 2400 px
Maximum file size: 10 MB per file
Entries may not include copyrighted, offensive, or abusive material.
Submitting multiple entries will result in disqualification (the oldest may be kept).

📄 Grant of Rights

By submitting your artwork, you unconditionally assign and transfer all rights, title, and interest in your entry to HMConventions, LLC, including any copyrights, trademarks, and moral rights.

Holiday Matsuri may use, modify, reproduce, and distribute entries — in whole or in part — for promotional or commercial purposes without additional compensation or approval.

📣 Publicity Release

Participation in this contest and/or acceptance of a prize grants permission for HMConventions, LLC to use your name, likeness, and artwork in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity, for promotional and advertising purposes without further notice or payment. Entrants release HMConventions, LLC from any liability related to such use.

Submission Requirements

Limit one (1) entry per Eligible Participant during the Contest Period. Entry can consist of two pieces of the same likelihood, one with a watermark and one without.
Art submitted must be in .png or .jpg form
Have a minimum resolution of at least 2400 pixels x 2400 pixels
Have a maximum size of no more than 10 Mb
You may only win one prize for this contest per convention year.
If you are submitting multiple applications the oldest application will be disqualified.
Not contain copyrighted material;
Not contain threatening, offensive, or abusive material
