• 2026 CENET/ IST Plus Trainee & Intern Programs Fee Disclosure

    While the Saltire Scholar Programme will be paying your programme fees, under US regulations we still require your signature. This does not mean you are subject to any of the programme fees listed as these will be borne in their entirety by the Saltire Scholar programme on your behalf. Please ensure you sign the bottom of this page - we know it's hard on a computer, but you can also do this on a smartphone or tablet!

    Programme Fee 1-12 months $1540 - $2540 depending on duration Includes agency’s services (e.g., recruitment, screening, document translation, English evaluation, orientation, interview assistance) and any additional administrative costs. Also includes Cenet’s visa sponsorship program fee and health insurance during the program (as well as a site visit fee, if applicable).
    US Government SEVIS Fee   $240 (included in Saltire Programme Fees) U.S. Government administrative fee (non-refundable)
    Visa Application Fee Paid direct to the US Embassy at the time of booking visa appointment $185 (subject to change) U.S. Government administrative fee (non-refundable)

    Roundtrip Airfare $1,000-$1,400 Actual cost depends on destination, dates selected, and booking date.
    Housing $500-$1,500/month Housing while in the U.S.
    Transportation $50-130/month Transportation from the airport, to and from your host company, etc. (excluding personal vehicle)
    Meals $200-$500/month Meals while in the U.S.
    Cultural Activities $25-$50/month Sightseeing and activities while in the U.S.

  • Sponsor's Refund Policy:

  • In case of cancelation or visa denial, all Cenet fees will be refunded, except for the non-refundable portions: $200 program fee, $240 SEVIS fee ; and the site visit fee (if applicable).

    AFTER ISSUANCE OF DS-2019 CERTIFICATE BUT PRIOR TO VISA INTERVIEW: $300 IN CASE OF VISA DENIAL AT EMBASSY: $200
    AFTER SUCCEFUL ISSURANCE OF VISA AT EMBASSY BUT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IN THE USA: $350
    AFTER ARRIVAL IN THE USA: NO REFUND POF ANY PROGRAMME FEES
