 WARM WELCOME TO THE IWC STOCKHOLM

We are delighted that you are interested in joining the International Women's Club of Stockholm.

​​To apply for membership:

• Review our eligibility requirements in our website
• Complete our application form
• Pay the membership fee of 700 SEK
  to IWC BankGiro 269‐2770 or via Swish 123 384 5237.

Once we have received and reviewed your application, the Membership Chairperson will contact you to verify and complete the necessary information. You will then be invited to an informal coffee gathering in central Stockholm, giving us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other.

​As the final step, your application will be submitted to the Executive Board for consideration at its next monthly meeting.

Once your membership has been approved, you will receive a welcome email together with your membership confirmation letter.

​If your application is not approved, any membership fee paid will be refunded, less any processing fees charged by the banks.​

 

A new membership shall be open to:

1. New membership shall be open to all English-speaking women who are not originally of Swedish nationality. 

2. Women of Swedish nationality who have been living abroad consecutively for at least 5 (five) years and have returned to Sweden no more than 3 (three) years prior to their application will be considered for membership

3. An exception will be made where a Swedish born woman with full diplomatic status represents another country in Sweden and this exception shall apply as long as she holds full diplomatic status.

 

The above information will be printed in the Directory unless otherwise requested.

The membership fee will be refunded to you less processing fees if your application is not approved. The fee is a fixed amount for the club year (which runs from June 1 to May 31) regardless of the date of your acceptance as a member.
