ODP is excited to provide a free Virtual Grant Writing Workshop for our Idaho prevention partners!

The Workshop will consist of eight, two-hour, virtual sessions. Sessions will be twice a week, from 2-4pm MST every Monday and Wednesday, from January 9 – February 1, 2023.

Workshop participants will go step-by-step through the grant writing process. Session topics will include, but are not limited to:

- Grant Writing Team Roles & Responsibilities
- Interpreting NOFOS (Notice of Funding Opportunities)
- Is The Grant Opportunity a Good Fit & Will You Be Competitive?

- Establishing an Application Timeline
- Logic Models are Your Friend
- Developing a Budget
- Completing a Budget Narrative
- Budget vs. Logic Model vs. Goals
- Action Plans, Evaluation Plans & Sustainability Plans in Grant Applications
- Do You Need to “Phase” Your Project?
- Write an Actual Grant Application
- Application Narratives
- Application Self Evaluation
- The Fine Points of Peer Review, “Test Driving” & Scoring Grant Resources
