iE's Summer Immersion Application

Minimum requirements: age 14-18, U.S. high school student with valid passport and ability to travel solo. Students whose families host an iE exchange students are eligible for a full scholarship for the immersion program. Complete the application below to indicate your interest in going on the summer immersion program.
Please note: This is a short-term exchange, which is significantly different from the experience of the student you are currently hosting. The American students who typically thrive in this program are those who are more independent, outgoing, and willing to adapt quickly to new routines and cultures. A student who is prone to homesickness, or will take more time to become comfortable in a new environment is not an ideal candidate.

Placement
We strive first for a direct exchange between your child and the family of the student you are hosting. If possible, your child will be placed with this family. If you would prefer a different experience for your child, please indicate that here.

Please note that flexibility with your travel dates is imperative. Our European families will be most available in the months of July and August, as school tends to run through the end of June.
