An envelope containing 13 driver’s licenses confiscated from Jewish citizens of Germany in 1938 was discovered in a government office in the Bavarian town of Lichtenfels in February 2017. Three of the licenses belonged to relatives of Livingston resident Inge Stanton, a native of Lichtenfels who escaped with her family in 1939. Join us to hear Inge, members of her family, and the German students who connected with them, as well as view the 13 Driver’s Licenses exhibit (on display July 15-31).
