Timeframe
I do not send any sort've invoice until I'm 100% ready to start your commission, and I will try to have it done within 2 weeks, usually under 1 week. Communication will be regular, feel free to email me anytime to ask how it's going.
Partial Payments
If you want artwork but understandably can't pay all in one go, you can put a bit on it here and there till it's payed off and then work can begin. Just let me know and I'll enable the option on the invoice. If you change your mind prior to work starting you obviously get a full refund.
Not applicable for purchases at/under $100, OR for Your Character Here auction winners.
Edits, Tweaks, and Revisions.
Good direction makes for a better commission, so feel free to point out things you'd like to be changed or cleaned up. However, I cannot spend forever on a commission, so there'll be a countdown when it comes to edits.
You get 8 rounds of tweaks during the sketch phase, and 8 during the polish phase. If you want to refresh your number of revisions once it hits 0, it will cost $50.
Try to put your edit requests in packs, and draw over the picture to show what you want if you can.
Major tweaks will count more then minor ones. As an example, If I have to redraw the entire pose during the sketch phase, it will count as 4 edits instead of 1.
If I make a large mistake like forgetting a feature of the character (tail, horns, etc.) or wildly misinterpreting what you said in an edit round, it will not count towards the remaining total to fix it.
I may ask to finish the commission without further edits, such as if the client takes a day to respond between each edit or if we're spending a lot of time on very minor line placements. You will be given the choice to let me do that or to get a refund.
