1st Round Application Deadline is Monday, June 15, 2026 11:59pm

2nd Round Application Deadline is Monday, August 3, 2026 11:59pm

Winners how apply before the first deadline will be notified via email on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 and will be announced at the 3rd You Matter Juneteenth Freedom 5k Walk/Run in person. If you are able to attend in person for recognition we would love to have you at Fort Hunt Park on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 7:30am

If you apply after the 2nd deadline, your application will not be considered.

Your scholarship contribution will be sent directly to your college institution in the fall or when your school's financial aid office will receive the check. Thank you for your participation and best wishes to you.
