Assistant Store Manager
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by motivating and guiding the sales team.
- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service by providing product knowledge and resolving inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking merchandise and conducting stock checks.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create visually appealing displays and maintain store layout.
- Maintain operational excellence by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and preparing sales reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product features, and pricing to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards always.
- Assist the Store Manager in providing comprehensive training, coaching, engaging in role-playing exercises, and actively supporting employees to develop their skills and achieve performance targets.
1 hour per week spent recruiting prospective talent.

What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in the fashion or jewellery industry.
- 2+ years in a management or supervisor role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- A track record of delivering results in a sales-driven and/or highly measured environment.
- Ability to ensure the store is staffed appropriately by being proactive and building a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Experience in managing and coaching Brand Ambassadors to achieve individual and store targets, including career development and succession planning.
- Strong analytical skills to quickly summarize data and make objective decisions.
- Technology savvy
- Proven ability to successfully lead a product and customer centric sales environment
- Capable of handling difficult customer interactions and conversations
- Natural ability to develop relationships
- A creative mindset with the ability to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
