Entry fee:   $150.00 per business crew

 

Entries may be paid by credit card using Square, or you still have the option of mailing in a check. (Please ensure to indicate the number of crews that you are paying for)

How to Enter:  Complete the online regsitration form and 2026 HCRA Waiver together with your entry fee(s).  

 

**Deadline for entries and waivers:  Friday April 10th, 2026

 

Registration(s) entry fee(s) must be received by Friday April 10th, 2026.  Entries received after April 10th will be $175.00.  Entries received after April 15th will be $200.00.  No entries will be accepted after April 17th.

Mandatory Pre-regatta Meeting:  A mandatory informational meeting for the representative from your business will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at Kamehameha Canoe Club Halau. Confirmation of team entries, divisions, and starting times will be announced at this meeting.  NO CHANGES ALLOWED after Friday night.

Kamehameha Business Regatta Entry Form

*Please complete one entry form per crew. Please submit your entry form one week in advance of Business race.

Practices:  Begins Monday, April 6th, 2026 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Practice site is at Kamehameha Canoe Club Halau, at the Suisan end of Hilo Bayfront. Due to the large number of entries expected, practices are limited to two (2) sessions per crew. To request a practice time, please select a date and time below. Unavailable times will be blocked out.

**Don't forget about your liability form!  Please be sure that all paddlers on your crew fill out the individual HCRA waiver before they enter any canoe for practice/race.  The combined adult and minor waiver is included.  These forms must be turned in before the first practice.  Please make copies for your crews.

Awards:

Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place crews in each event.  Individual award ribbons will be given to each crew member for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes in each event.  PERPETUAL TROPHIES will no longer be given to a crew that wins their category, for three years in a row.  The company will be allowed to take the trophy with them for the year and we will put your name on a plaque and the trophy must be returned to Kamehameha Canoe Club before next year’s Business race.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICES

Please be sure to secure your drinking permits from the Police Dept. by Friday, April 13th prior to the Business Race.  Kamehameha Canoe Club will not be responsible for drinking at the beach.  There may be a possibility of police patrol at the beach to check on drinking permits.

Also, please remind your members that the beach area is a NON-SMOKING area.
