The Journey Toward Excellence (JTE) Endowment is dedicated to Rev. John Winn, who founded The Center for Pastoral Excellence in 1990, and to Rev. Carole Cotton Winn, who initiated The Academy for Spiritual Leadership in 1998, to honor them for their faithful, creative, and influential lives and ministries.

The JTE Endowment was established to support and nurture pastoral excellence and wellbeing in the spirit of what John and Carole began. The endowment has now grown enough to fund grants in support of this mission.
