KOAC Volunteer Sign Up Form

The Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre occassionally looks for volunteers to help us get the Sculpture Park ready for our Summer Tour Season, or for general tasks around the park and our facilities.

Every year we reach out to our community and host a super fun spring clean up and lanscaping day. It's a great way to meet new people who love nature, art, and connection!

If you are interested in joining us on May 30th from approximately 9am until 1pm (time will be confirmed closer to the date), we would love to have you!

Requirements for the day: Please bring a water bottle, and wear a hat, hiking shoes or comfortable runners, and long pants. It would be helpful to bring a pair of work/gardening gloves as well, and if you want - knee pads or something to kneel on for gardening tasks.

I acknowledge and accept that by participating in the KOAC Spring Park Cleanup, I may engage in physical tasks such as weeding, lifting, or other manual outdoor work that could carry a risk of minor injury (e.g., cuts, scrapes, strains). I understand that I am volunteering at my own risk and agree that the Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the event.I acknowledge and accept there is an actively maintained beehive at the park. I understand the potential risk of bee stings and, if I have allergies or sensitivities, I will take appropriate precautions (e.g., bringing personal medication such as an EpiPen). I release the Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre from liability related to any allergic reactions or incidents involving insects or wildlife at the park.
