  • INFO ABOUT HOW THE STORE WORKS

K’boodle provides a platform for small businesses to rent a space in our retail setting in Cataraqui Centre to showcase their talents and sell their products.   You earn 100% of your sales, paid out bi-weekly directly to your bank account.  We provide you a vendor code, this will identify your products from others when they are sold.  Sales are tracked through an easy to use online inventory system.  You are responsible for learning and properly updating your inventory in the system and properly tagging your products.  We provide a detailed onboarding package to explain all the steps for proper labeling and inputting into the system.

We charge a 13% processing fee to the customer, this is not tax, it is a service fee that goes towards the general upkeep of the store, and things like the POS system and bags.  K’boodle does NOT collect tax or remit tax on your behalf.   Should your business be required to collect tax, you are responsible for the collection and remittance of all applicable provincial and/or federal taxes in connection with any sale of the goods or products.  For greater clarity, when K’boodle processes a sale for you we will NOT be adding any taxes to the sale price of your products.  The prices of your products should include the amount of sales tax that you are charging and remitting to the CRA.

Applications will be accepted on a variety of things including, but not limited to: Quality of your product, your products uniqueness, the overall appeal of your branding, and your engagement on social media.  Filling out this application is not a confirmation of your approval.  This application is intended to express your interest in becoming an artisan at K’boodle.

Once your application is approved and we receive your first payment, this document becomes the legal binding contract between you and K'boodle and you are adhering to K'boodles' terms and conditions.  You will have 48 hours to pay your first invoice or make contact with us regarding the payment, or the offer to join the store becomes void.  *Payments are non-refundable in the event that you decide to not move into the store at which point the contract becomes void*
