2025 Assignment Prosecuting Attorneys Training Fund

WHEREAS, the undersigned is the duly elected and acting (County/District)
Attorney for the County of 

State of Kansas; and

WHEREAS, the Kansas Prosecutor Training and Assistance Institute (hereafter referred to as KPTAI), located at 1200 SW. 10th Ave., Topeka, KS, 66604, has instituted and is conducting a continuing legal education program exclusively
for the training of personnel for duties as a prosecuting attorney and support staff. Said Institute agrees to provide at least two state-wide programs, each of which will meet the minimum annual continuing legal education requirements established
by Kansas Supreme Court; and WHEREAS, the State of Kansas has established a prosecuting attorneys training fund by virtue of K.S.A. 28-170, as amended, 28-170a as amended and 28-172a as amended, which said fund is received by the county treasurer at least monthly.

NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises herein before set forth, I do herewith assign and set over to the said KPTAI at the address aforesaid

of said fund which shall accrue each month hereafter during the calendar year beginning January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025, and I do
herewith order said funds paid to the said KPTAI at the address aforesaid in the percentage indicated beginning January 1, 2025 and each (month/quarter) thereafter for the said calendar year. Said funds are to be used by said KPTAI
exclusively for the training of personnel for duties as a prosecuting attorney and support staff. The percentage paid over to said KPTAI represents the benefits derived for the training of personnel in my office.

I herein grant said KPTAI full power and authority to collect the above sums due and to become due in my name and I appoint said assignee, attorney-in-fact, to  place said sum to the use herein stated and no other, to give a receipt therefore in full discharge of said obligation in my name, and to submit the required annual accounting of the prosecuting attorney’s training fund for
