Thanks in advance for your help! These questions will help me deliver the best program possible to your group. A good rule of thumb to follow: if the answer isn’t obvious to at least 65% to 75% of your group – skip it! In order to be helpful – it has to be applicable to the majority of the group. (I often work with groups where many of these questions don’t apply. So if the question doesn’t fit your group – don’t sweat it! No big deal. Really!) It’s hard to predict which of this information will make it into the program, but having a better understanding of your group and the challenges they face will make for a more customized presentation. Name any specific challenges this group faces. (internal processes, new mandates, software glitches, sales quotas, etc)

What small things might your group complain about wiht the girlfriends over a glass of wine or buddies over a beer? (the parking, the bad coffee, instant messaging... etc) DIG DEEP!

What exciting or positive thing has happened in the organization or in the industry in the last few months that the majority of the group could relate to?

Is there any jargon or catch phrases for this group that I should know?

Are there any funny or well known stories, running inside jokes or quirky member traits in this industry or within this group?

Is there a particular group, sports team or mascot that I can mention? Or two? IE: In South Carolina it's both the Clemson Tigers and the SC Gamecocks. In Arkansas -it's all Razorbacks!

If your group had a magic wand, what changes would they make? (Hiring more help, improved pay, more appreciation, increased demand for their product etc.)

What are their greatest fears or concerns?

Is there any particular credentialing that attendees can strive for? Anything I can promote that would advance their careers?

Is there anything that I should NOT mention? Any sensitive issues I should know about? (Upcoming layoffs, changes in the industry, major or minor catastrophes etc.)
