Through strategic partnerships and shared initiatives, we strive to make well-being an integral part of our Chamber culture.

 

Mission Statement

Bridging Wellness and Community Through Collaboration
Our mission is to unite health and wellness businesses by enhancing visibility for wellness initiatives, fostering collaboration, promoting public engagement, and strengthening community well-being.

Overall responsibilities:

• Attend monthly Health & Wellness Committee meetings
• Serve as an advocate for the membership, staff, and Board of Directors
• Attend, invite others to attend, and volunteer at Health and Wellness events
• Follow direction of Chamber staff and Health & Wellness Chair
   

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing health and wellness related events in the community as selected by the Chamber Staff and the Health and Wellness Committee Chair
• Attend all monthly Health & Wellness Committee meetings
• “Like”, comment on, and SHARE social media posts from the Chamber Health & Wellness events consistently
• Attend 6 of 12 Membership Luncheons

 

Committee Member Terms:

1. Must be a Chamber member in good standing.
2. Adhere to “Specific Responsibilities” listed above.
3. Serve a one 1-year term
4. May serve two consecutive terms – determined by Committee Chair and Chamber staff. After a Committee Member has been off the committee for one year, they may be invited to serve on the Committee again.
5. Have a positive attitude and a hospitable and approachable personality at all events
6. Dress appropriately at different venues
              

Health & Wellness Committee Privileges:

1. Serving in a prominent position for one of the largest chambers in St. Louis
2. Acknowledged at some events and meetings
3. Headshot, bio, and quote on Chamber website
4. Opportunities to promote Health & Wellness to the local community while wearing your businesses branded attire
