ANNUAL LORD MAYOR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST 2025 Beneficiary Application.

BENEFICIARY SUBMISSIONS INFORMATION & APPLICATION

The Newcastle Annual Lord Mayor's Breakfast was established in 2009. Each year a charity is chosen by the Lord Mayor to be the beneficiary of the breakfast.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

To be eligible to enter the charity must meet the following criteria:

1. The work of the nominated charity must be in and benefit the people of the Newcastle Local Government Area.

2. The organisation must have 'charity' or 'not for profit' status.

3. If the nominated organisation has 'Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR)' status (donations are tax deductible) they must be able to provide tax deductible donor receipts.

4. Must not have been a previous recipient of this function or if so, applying for a new project not previously funded.

5. If the organisation is chosen as the beneciary they must be able to provide,

Their logo to be included in media for the event.
A short biography and photos or video clip of the organisations work.
A representative of the organisation to attend the event and be available to receive the award.
A representative to look after any resource or promotions that is brought by the organisation to the event..
