Finalist Award Feedback & Ideas

Each year, ABRA recognizes the top three member who generate the highest sponsorship and/or raffle ticket sales. We want these awards to be meaningful, motivating, and something participants are excited to earn.

What types of awards, recognition, or incentives would motivate you to increase your sponsorship and raffle ticket efforts? Please share any ideas for prizes, experiences, recognition opportunities, or other rewards that you believe would encourage greater participation and engagement among finalists below.

Your feedback will help us enhance our recognition program and continue building enthusiasm around supporting ABRA's mission.
Extra Mile Awards: Everyone has the opportunity to earn 3 additional awards at our Finals. Anyone with

1. Perfect Attendance (entering all 12 point shows plus our Bayou Classic = 13 shows)

2. Sponsorships/Raffle Ticket Sales - anyone submitting $200 or more in sponsorhips and/or raffle ticket sales. We will continue to accept these until our Finals.

3. Raffle Donations - anyone donating at least 8 raffle items throughout the year at our shows
Extra Mile Awards: We typically have an assortment of items to choose from for our Extra Mile Qualifiers. Let us know your favorites, or give us some ideas.

Please give us any suggestions for Fastest Time Award at Finals:
Year-End Champions: Per Rule #37, classes with average participation of 15 or more (75 for Open 5D) through our 10th point show will be awarded a championship saddle/check. For the last few years, we have awarded a check for the amount we would have spent to get a trophy saddle so the winner can get what they will prefer. Those classes with less than the required number can obtain sponsorships to qualify for the saddle champion award. What would you prefer if you were a year-end champion?
