Artist Masterclasses (YAM) are offered daily from August 26-September 2, 2024as a new component of LAMP’s Open Community Education Academy. Youngpianists and string players are encouraged to participate in masterclasses,perform in the beautiful LAMP Recital Hall on Sunday, September 1 at 2:30pm,and attend a variety of free educational events throughout the week, includinga workshop on nerves, a discussion about practicing tips, a demonstration byviolinist Soyoung Choi about interpretive practices throughout history, an openchamber music rehearsal, a Q and A session for parents of musical children, andmore.
