How will these in-person production work safely?
All participants in this production will be required to be 13 or older on or before January 6th, 2025. All participants MUST have a COVID-19 vaccine (and be at least 14 days past their final dose by January 6th, 2025). We will ask for proof of vaccination at first rehearsal. This is to ensure a safe environment for all involved. We will be following all CDC and KY guidelines.
Please open our FAQ Page for more details.
Are we discrete or double cast?
Due to the length of the performance run, we hope to double-cast all students in the production.
Double casting is when two people attend rehearsals and learn all the lines and blocking for a role and then alternate performance days. All non-adult roles will be double cast for this production.
Discrete casting means that one actor learns all the lines and blocking (usually without understudies) and performs everyday. Adult roles will be discretely cast.
Where and when does the show perform?

The weekend performances are:

Sunday, March 16th at 2 pm
Sunday, March 23rd at 2pm

(actors are onsite from 8:30am until 1:15pm for school performances)
I turn 13 after the deadline of January 6th, 2025. Can I still audition?
Not this time. We encourage performers under 13 to take theatre school classes to learn and grow and get ready for their first audition with us! If your 13th birthday is VERY close to this date, please email Kate to see if we can make arrangements.
What if my child has accessibility needs?
Please let us know on the last page of this form. We will be in touch to ensure your student has what they need to have a successful and fun audition process!
Should I audition even if it's my first time and I might not get a part?
Absolutely! You might not get a part the first time you audition for a show, but at LCT we make auditions as fun and unintimidating as possible. We do a lot of group activities, not so many "solo" activities. This is a great place to have your first audition! And you'll be less nervous for your next audition.
Do I need to prepare anything for my audition?
Nope! All audition materials will be provided to you during the audition. There is nothing you need to prepare in advance of the audition. Please come dressed in something comfortable in case there are movement elements.
What's the best way to get in touch with LCT staff?
The best way is to get in touch is by email. rsm@lctonstage.org is the main account for questions about this audition process.
