Whether your preference is on asphalt, or on dirt, our premier training facility was developed for riders & enthusiasts of all ages to learn and sharpen skills in a private, closed course, training environment.

    Range sessions are held at the Mathews Motorcycle Training Facility located at 1516 W. Dan Ronquillo Dr. Fresno, CA 93706 -- just 3 miles west of the dealership.

    Mathews Harley-Davidson is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 9am to 5pm and available to support your motorcycle training needs. Located at the same address since 1961, you can't help but notice our new construction of the showroom and museum (est. 2012) as you near the Blackstone/Abby Street exit along the 180 Freeway!   • Important Details To Be Aware Of Prior To Authorizing Payment

  • MUST BE ABLE TO COMFORTABLY RIDE A BICYCLE

    The ability to ride a bicycle is a necessary prerequisite for the Basic RiderCourse because it confirms the student already possesses the fundamental skill of balancing and stabilizing a two-wheeled vehicle. The course does not teach basic balance; it teaches motorcycle-specific controls, so students must have this foundational skill to avoid being dismissed from the course.

  • NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN

    It is the responsibility of the student to clear their schedule to ensure attendance for the entire course. Plan ahead, allow for traffic conditions, and DO NOT BE LATE. Class starts promptly as scheduled. Students who are tardy will not be allowed to join class once it is in session. You are strongly advised to arrive 30 minutes EARLY to allow enough time to use the restroom, store your personal items in the lockers provided, and have your helmet & gloves on -- ready to ride at the scheduled class start time. Students who are late and/or fail to attend any portion of the course will forfeit their entire enrollment fee.

  • CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

    The paid enrollment fee reserves your spot in a specific class. To cancel or reschedule a class, you must send your request by email at LearnToRideFresno@gmail.com or by text at (559) 233-5279 no later than FIVE days prior to the start of class. If you’re unable to communicate personally, you may appoint a responsible party to cancel/reschedule on your behalf. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the paid enrollment fee upon issuance of refund. Students who wish to reschedule at the time of cancellation instead of requesting a refund will not be charged a $50 cancellation fee. An additional $25 cancellation fee will also be charged if the eCourse link was activated by student.

  • NO LICENSE WAIVER CERTIFICATE

    A license waiver certificate (also known as a DL389) will not be issued upon completion of the MSF Basic RiderCourse. The State of California requires a DL389 in order to apply for a permit for applicants under 21. Mathews Harley-Davidson offers additional practice sessions which include time to learn the skill to pass the DMV behind the wheel test, at no additional charge within 30 days of class completion. Students who wish to use the motorcycle they learned to ride on for their DMV behind the wheel test will have the opportunity to warm up on the training motorcycle one hour prior to the DMV appointment time. The bike will then be available at DMV to test on. Terms and restrictions apply.
