IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE PAYMENT
ATTENDANCE & FAILURE TO ATTEND: Students must arrive on time and be prepared to participate for the entire course. Late arrivals will not be admitted once a class session has begun. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow for traffic or unexpected delays and to be ready to ride at the scheduled start time. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or failure to complete the course.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY: AT LEAST FIVE (5) DAYS' NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE. Notify Mathews Harley-Davidson by email at LearnToRideFresno@gmail.com or text at (559) 233-5279. RESCHEDULING -- With at least five days' notice, your full tuition may be applied to another available class within 90 days with no rescheduling fee. You do not need to select your new class date at the time of your request. CANCELLATION/REFUND -- With at least five days' notice, a refund may be requested. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from your enrollment fee. LESS THAN FIVE DAYS' NOTICE -- Cancellation or rescheduling requests made less than five days before the class is scheduled to begin will result in forfeiture of the enrollment fee.
NO LICENSE WAIVER CERTIFICATE: A license waiver certificate (also known as a DL389) will not be issued upon completion of the MSF Basic RiderCourse 2 - Skills Practice. The State of California requires a DL389 in order to apply for a permit for applicants under 21. Successful completion of this course does not exempt a student from the DMV motorcycle skills test. Additional practice sessions for students who would like to practice before attempting the DMV motorcycle skills test are offered.
PERSONAL MOTORCYCLE: A student who wishes to ride their own bike during the course must furnish current registration and proof of insurance in advance. A training bike may also be reserved from the fleet as sometimes students are uncertain which bike they prefer to practice new skills on.
