About The American Board of Longevity Medicine (ABLM)
The American Board of Longevity Medicine (ABLM) is an international physician certification and education organization dedicated to advancing evidence-based longevity medicine, preventive healthcare, and healthy aging through structured medical education, clinical competency standards, and global collaboration.
ABLM was established to support the transition of longevity medicine from fragmented wellness and anti-aging approaches toward a scientifically regulated, clinically governed, and evidence-based healthcare discipline focused on healthspan optimization, preventive medicine, precision healthcare, and age-related disease risk reduction.
The organization provides internationally focused physician education and certification pathways designed to equip healthcare professionals with advanced knowledge in healthy longevity medicine, precision and personalized medicine, preventive healthcare, lifestyle and metabolic optimization, biomarker-guided medicine, regenerative and translational medicine concepts, and evidence-based clinical longevity interventions.
ABLM’s flagship credential, the Diplomate of the American Board of Longevity Medicine (DABLM), is designed for licensed physicians seeking formal competency recognition in the rapidly evolving field of longevity medicine. In addition, the organization offers the Longevity Medicine Competency Certification (LMCC) for multidisciplinary healthcare teams, wellness professionals, and clinic staff involved in healthy longevity medicine services.
The organization strongly emphasizes evidence-based clinical practice, ethical medical governance, patient safety, clinical competency development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and preventive healthcare models.
ABLM also supports the development of longevity medicine ecosystems through collaboration with healthcare institutions, academic organizations, clinics, governments, and international partners interested in advancing regulated healthy longevity medicine infrastructure.
Strategically, ABLM aims to contribute toward workforce development in longevity medicine, physician certification pathways, healthy longevity clinic excellence frameworks, continuing medical education, translational medicine collaboration, and international educational partnerships.
As longevity medicine continues to emerge as a transformative healthcare field globally, ABLM seeks to help establish internationally recognized standards that promote scientifically grounded, clinically responsible, and patient-centered approaches to extending healthspan and improving quality of life.
