About Our Programs
AgriCorps: Stemming from the traditional corps model, AgriCorps is a part-time service opportunity for youth, ages 14-16. Corpsmembers volunteer throughout the summer season assisting local farmers and community garden managers with sustainable food production.
Land: As the longest standing program of the LCCC, Land Crews have steadily enhanced recreational areas in the community. The work performed by these crews contributes to the safety and accessibility of frequently visited areas by way of trail building and maintenance, habitat restoration, and invasive species removal. This is a full-time service opportunity for young adults, ages 16-18, and includes six-seven weeks of camping Monday through Thursday.
RMNP Land: The RMNP Land Crew is a service opportunity for young adults, ages 18-25. Crews will complete trail building and maintenance projects in Rocky Mountain National Park and includes camping Monday - Thursday for the summer, some of which may include backcountry camping.
Sawyer: This intensive chainsaw program provides young adults, ages 18-25, with a full-time summer service opportunity. Once trained in S-212 chainsaw certification, corpsmembers perform fire mitigation and hazard tree removal projects. This season will include camping for for eight weeks, Monday-Thursday.
