Lighthouse Festival Theatre in Port Dover is pleased to announce a Call for Submission for artwork created by visual artists to be displayed in our box office lobby and long bar gallery throughout the 2026 season (April to October). We are particularly interested in showcasing the talent of local & indigenous artists, and we welcome a variety of mediums, including sculpture, paintings, beadwork, and more.
We are looking for 8-15 large and medium-scale pieces that will be installed in our box office lobby and two sets of artwork, each consisting of 8-15 large and medium-scale pieces, for our long bar area on the second floor. The exhibit space provides a unique opportunity to share your work with the over 60,000 people who walk through our doors each year.
If your work is chosen, it can be available for sale, and we are proud to support our artists by taking a minimal commission. To ensure continuous display, we encourage artists to provide additional pieces that can be kept on-site or changed with short notice, should a work be purchased and collected before the end of the season.
Once installed, we will host an opening event to showcase the artwork, which will include an invitation to the public, food, and champagne in the early part of 2026.
To participate, please fill out the form below. Should your work be chosen, we ask that you provide an artist bio, along with a description of each piece you are submitting. Descriptions should include the title, price, medium, and the date of creation, and will be displayed with each piece.
