TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
“Rowing” membership is the standard category entitling the applicant to full use of LBRA equipment and facilities. A Friends of the Association membership is available to those who wish to be non-rowing members. Family memberships are for an adult couple residing in a common primary residence.

MEMBERSHIP BILLINGS
Continuing members will be billed each year prior to October 1st. Membership fees are due on October 1st and must be paid in full by that date. New members joining at times other than October 1st will pay the full membership upon joining. The next October, their dues will be pro-rated for the following year.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
Each member is expected to contribute 12 hours annually to help with regattas, work parties, special events, equipment and facility maintenance, committee activities, etc. Volunteer hours are to be completed before September 1 of each year. There will be a charge of $300 for those who opt-out of the volunteer hours requirement.

The undersigned is interested in obtaining membership in the Long Beach Rowing Association and promises to abide by the constitution and by-laws of LBRA and its policies respecting the use of the LBRA facilities and equipment. Member(s) agrees with the membership billing, boat storage and volunteer hours policies as stated above. Member(s) further agrees that LBRA may hold in its possession and sell on its account any property which Member(s) may have at the boathouse in case of non-payment of dues, fees or assessments. Member(s) understands Member is fully responsible financially for damage to LBRA facilities and equipment.
