Consent to receive newsletters and information on the processing of personal data

We hereby ask you to authorise the inclusion of your e-mail address in the mailing list of the Newsletter of the Lugano Region Tourist Board ("Lugano Region").

The Newsletter is a free and optional update service on the activities of Lugano Region. Unsubscription from the mailing-list is possible at any time and with immediate effect by clicking on the link "Unsubscribe from this newsletter" at the bottom of each e-mail.

The personal data processed as part of the management of the mailing - list and the sending of the Newsletter are the following: (i) e-mail address; (ii) user's IP address (click here if you don't know what this is about); (iii) name and surname of the person concerned; (iv) language; (v) interests and activities;

With the explicit consent, the Newsletter is set up to detect of the recipient's behaviour, in particular for profiling purposes. We collect the information regarding the opening of the e-mail, the time or duration of reading, and also the activated links. The e-mail address is neither disclosed nor passed on to third parties.

We manage the newsletter via the platform of a specialised service provider. Salesforce, SFDC Ireland Limited, Dublin - Ireland (https://www.salesforce.com). The data are saved on dataservers in Ireland and are not transferred to the USA

What is this about?

When you use the online form available at https://form.jotform.com/Lugano_Region/offerta-kids-for-free-aut-2025-en (hereinafter referred to as the "online form") to communicate with us, we collect information about you (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Data"). The purpose of this document is to fully inform you about the processing of Personal Data carried out through the Online Form.

Information on the processing of personal data in the context of the Online Form

When you use the Online Form, we process the following Personal Data.

• Personal Data processed on a mandatory basis: (i) IP address of the device used by the User (what is this?); (ii) personal data requested by the Online Form (marked with an asterisk*) and entered by the User; (iii) services and products provided to the User;
• Personal data processed on an optional basis: personal data required by the Online Form (without an asterisk*);
• Purposes pursued: (i) to allow the use of the Online Form; (ii) to identify the User; (iii) to verify the legitimacy of the User's request; (iv) to correspond with the User; (v) to follow up on the User's request; (vi) to store data relating to the transaction for contractual, commercial, tax, accounting and administrative purposes; (vii) to send newsletters to customers (for similar products and services) and non-customers (subject to consent to subscription to the mailing list);
• Data controller: We have delegated the processing of Personal Data within the scope of the provision of the online Form to the following IT service provider:
  • JOTFORM (https://www.jotform.com): JOTFORM provides and manages the online Form, which the User fills in when submitting his/her request; JOTFORM collects the following personal data: IP address of the device used by the User; personal data entered by the User in the online Form;
• Recipients: no third parties, with the exception of JOTFORM (as Data Processor), limited to the data specified in the previous paragraph
• Transfers abroad: Germany (an appropriate state under the Swiss Data Protection Act), limited to the data collected by JOTFORM (as the Data Processor)
• Retention period: Personal Data are destroyed or anonymized as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose(s) of the processing; the following activities are reserved: (i) retention required by law (e.g. data relevant for commercial accounting, including accounting documents): retention for 10 years from the end of the relevant accounting period; (ii) retention in the overriding interest of the Data Controller as owner of the www.luganoregion.com and/or contractual party of the User (defence against the violation of legal and contractual obligations; proof of the correct fulfilment of legal and contractual obligations): conservation within the limits of the statute of limitations established by law in relation to the right/obligation justifying conservation;
