  • Please refer to these guidelines for recording video responses to interview questions:
To create a professional and compelling video interview submission, follow these best practices:

    1. Set Up the Right Environment:

o Choose a quiet, well-lit space with minimal distractions. Ensure your background is clean and professional, avoiding clutter or personal items. Neutral or solid-colored backgrounds work best (e.g., a plain wall or tidy bookshelf).

o Position your camera at eye level for a natural angle, framing yourself from the chest or waist up.

    2. Test Equipment and Software:

o Check your webcam, microphone, and internet connection in advance. Perform a test run to ensure audio and video quality.

o The video response should be 4-5 minutes long and no larger than 150MB. Only .mp4, .mov, .avi, and .wmv file formats are accepted.

    3. Lighting and Eye Contact:

o Position a light source in front of you to illuminate your face without harsh shadows. Avoid backlighting, which can obscure your features.

o Look directly into the camera to create the impression of eye contact, instead of looking at your own image or notes on the screen.

    4. Minimize Interruptions:

o Inform others in your household about the interview time to avoid disruptions. Silence notifications on your devices and ensure pets or other distractions are managed.

Following these steps will help you create a professional video submission.
