Mothers Against Drunk Driving New Mexico will once again recognize local heroes for their commitment to MADD's mission to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking. Heroes will be publicly recognized at an awards event on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Please help us identify Heroes in your community who have helped to forward the mission of MADD and have demonstrated dedication to the community to end impaired driving.
MADD recognizes community heroes as an individual, an organization, a business or an agency that has demonstrated strong and sincere commitment to community and to furthering MADD's mission. Former nominees have included community or neighborhood programs, educational programs, educators, health care professionals, legislators, first responders, judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers; anyone that has demonstrated a commitment to ending drunk driving.
To make your nominations, please submit their name(s), in the award categories below. For each nomination, please describe why in 250 words or less. Remember, you don't have to make a nomination in all categories! This year, the award categories are:
