Example report - Violent conduct
In the 82nd minute of the match, Mr PLAYER from TEAM A was sent off for a violent conduct offence.
Mr PLAYER had possession of the ball about 10 metres inside his own half and about 5m from the touchline on the far side of the field. I was the referee and was about 10 metres from the incident with a clear and unobstructed view.
A player from TEAM B was behind MR PLAYER and recklessly kicked the back of MR PLAYER'S ankle. MR PLAYER then turned around and threw a close-fisted punch with his right hand at the player from TEAM B. The punch was thrown with an excessive force and made contact left cheek of the player from TEAM B.
The Player from TEAM B immediately stepped back and several players from both teams stepped between the players to separate them.
I stopped play and issued MR PLAYER a red card for violent conduct. Mr PLAYER left the field of play without further incident.
Mrs PLAYER left the field without further incident.
