All current tenants must fill out this form if they intend to transfer the tenancy. If new tenants intend to be part of the tenancy their details must be included and they will need to submit an application prior to acceptance of any change to the tenancy.

At least ONE original tenant must remain for a Change of Shared Tenancy to be processed by the Rental Bond Board.

Please note, in accordance with your Residential Tenancy Agreement, and the Residential Tenancies Act, you will be charged a fee to cover the Landlord's reasonable expenses to complete the transfer. This fee is $99.00 and will require full payment prior to the completion of the transfer.

About a Transfer of Tenancy
Change of Shared Tenancy

All applications to amend a tenancy are subject to the Landlord's approval. Any new tenants are required to be screened and verified through the standard application process.

All existing tenants will be responsible until a Transfer of Tenancy Document has been completed and signed by all parties, including the landlord/agent, this may take several weeks to be prepared.

No bond funds will be released as part of a change of shared tenancy. It is the tenant's responsibility to arrange any bond repayments between each other.
