2018-2019 clickPA Core Staff Application
clickPA is the one-stop website for exciting events, opportunities and other actvities tailored to the local teen age-group. Founded in 2013 by four high school students who felt that teens are unaware about the wealth of activities available around Palo Alto, clickPA strives to empower teens to get involved in their communities. The website content, publicity, and technology is entirely run by the clickPA core staff, led by City of Palo Alto employees.
The clickPA core staff will learn professional and interpersonal skills that can be utilized in the workforce through guest speakers, group meetings, and workshops while maintaining their website, clickPA.org. Applicants must be current high school teenagers attending a school in Palo Alto and/or living in Palo Alto. Core staff will be required to meet every other Thursday from 4-6pm at the Mitchell Park Community Center beginning Thursday, September 13, 2018. Aside from bi-monthly meetings, core staff is expected to work independently for up to five hours a week
To become a core staff member for clickPA, submit a completed application via this online form. Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled with enthusiastic and eligible candidates. Applicants will be required to conduct a phone interview and attend an in-person interview with the nominating committee. Applications, including cover letter and resume will be accepted NO LATER than Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:59pm.
