Description: Danny Dollar Academy is a reading and financial literacy program designed to educate young students about money management, entrepreneurship and economics. The program is named after the character, Danny Dollar, the protagonist of a children's book series by Ty Allan Jackson. The Academy uses interactive lessons and activities to teach kids important financial concepts in a fun and engaging way, aiming to empower them with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions throughout their lives.
This is a 5 hour (approximately) online, on-demand, training for teachers to learn how to use Danny Dollar Make Your Own Money with their 6th-7th grade students. While completion of this course is not necessary to implement the program in a classroom, it does show educators how to teach the associated lesson plans.
Danny Dollar has inspired countless children around the world to make, save, and spend money wisely, and to dream big. Now the “King of Cha-Ching” returns to take kids on a how-to journey toward financial literacy, with tips and guidance for making money and minding their own businesses. With Danny as their money-savvy guide, readers get answers to questions like “What is money?”, “How do I make money?”, and “Why should I become an entrepreneur?” This blueprint for financial success provides creative and practical tips for earning money by starting a business, and even covers how to write a business plan, raise start-up money, and understand profit and loss.
