THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HELP MAKE THIS ONE OF THE BEST EVENTS ON THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST! WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP. WE NEED HELP GETTING SPONSORS, AUCTION ITEMS, AND RESTAURANT PARTICIPATION. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE, PLEASE CONNECT ME WITH THEM OR SET A MEETING FOR US ALL TO TALK. YOUR HELP WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL IN GROWING OUR FUNDING TO HELP BUILD WHEELCHAIR RAMPS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE APPRECIATE YOU
FILL OUT ALL INFO BELOW: March 13 & 14, 2026 we will be outside at Centennial Plaza - two nights of fun with a kids event Saturday morning. Please notate below which times you would like to voluntter. All volunteers who stay and help with cleanup (which will take an extra 15-20 minutes), will get entered into a drawing for a $100 cash!

DAY OF EVENT (FRIDAY):

I will Report promptly from 5 PM - 10 PM (we will need everyone there at 5PM to figure out final assignments and placement prior to doors opening, finish setup, grab some hot pizza and be ready to go. DO NOT PARTAKE IN EVENT FOOD OR DRINKS UNTIL AFTER 8PM SO OUR GUESTS CAN ENJOY AND PLEASE DO NOT OVER-DRINK AS A VOLUNTEER)
GCBBF 5K - GLOW RUN (FRIDAY):

I will help where needed for the 5k Glow Run that will happen Friday night on site at Centennial Plaza. Most runners will not be part of the Festival, so will need to purchase a ticket to come into event. All paid participants will have an armband. Race time 6PM (might change).
DAY OF EVENT (SATURDAY):

SATURDAY MORNING KIDS FEST:

I will Report promptly from 9 AM for morning shift or 11:30 AM for afternoon shift (event goes 10-2). Most volunteer duties will either on the front end for 2-3 hours or on the back end 2-3 hours. Some volunteers will help with the Bacon Bit Pig Race.
Thursday/Friday Setup Tables, Decorating & Silent Auction:

I am available to help Thursday and/or Friday with silent auction (if we have), picking up items, VIP goodie bags, decorating and setting up tables. It will go quick, you can do as little as 2 hours or half the day or all day :)

Media Release: We take photographs and video for marketing purposes throughout the year. In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Mississippi Heroes and Centennial Plaza, its officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
