Background:
Community development is deeply valued by Madison County Farm Bureau. We recognize the strength of agriculture is directly tied to the strength of our local communities. By investing in projects that enhance communities, we aim to ensure that Madison County remains a vibrant and sustainable place to live and work.
Purpose:
The purpose of this grant is to improve & support public development for Madison County residents - both urban and rural (ie: new park facilities, first responder equipment, city beautification, community greenhouse, sidewalks to local grocery store, pollinator plot on city owned lots, etc.). $10,000 total will be given to applicants selected by Madison County Farm Bureau.
Eligible Applicants:
Eligible applicants include local government entities, community-based organizations, civic groups, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations located within Madison County. Projects must directly benefit Madison County residents—urban and/or rural—and demonstrate a positive impact on community well-being, safety, and/or quality of life. Collaborative efforts between multiple organizations or partnerships that involve Farm Bureau members are encouraged.
