    {fname}, if you are truly interested in working with The Maid Crew, here are some things you'll need to know:

    Before we send any new hire into our client's private homes, we first need to ensure that new-hire is properly trained and vetted so they know what the expectations are and how we do things. With that said, we require all new-hires to go through training & evaluation which could last anywhere from 3 days to 5 days depending on experience and skill.

    DURING your initial 3-5 day training & evaluation:

    • You MUST be at our office at 8am on the days you're scheduled, work in a team with a trainer and work through till the end of the day which is anywhere from 1:30pm - 3:30pm.
    • Wages are paid out "by-the-hour" at a rate of $16phr from the time you arrive at our office until the moment you return at the end of the day.

     

    AFTER training and evaluation:

    • Wages are calculated on a "Per Job" basis at a flat-rate for work performed. Based on your experience, your pace and the size of the home, your pay will average out to between $19 - $25 for every hour your spend cleaning.
    • You will be able to customize your work schedule. If you customize your work hours with a start time of AFTER 8am, you will be expected to work independently as a solo cleaner using your own vehicle for transportation to & from the day's job assignments.
      • Note: this will allow you to NOT have to come to the office every morning to pair up. You'll be able to travel directly from your home to the first job of the day, then hit your second job and then go straight home. (Job info is relayed through a mobile app)
    • If you DO opt to come in to work starting at 8am, you will be able to pair up with other coworker(s) and use the company vehicle to get to & from the day's assigned jobs.
      • Note: Even if you prefer to start your work day at 8am at our office and to work in a team that uses a company car, management reserves the right, when needed, to have you work independently as a solo worker using your own vehicle to get to and from the day's assignments. This is an expectation & requirement of the job.

     

    You MUST have a Driver's License & pass a background & drug screening.

    Monies owed to you are paid every Friday through Direct Deposit. We operate one-week in the hole, meaning that what you work this week will get paid on Friday of the following week.

    Scheduling & Availability

    While you are in control of your schedule by means of your availability, there are a couple of requirements that we have:

    • Those we work with will need to be available for a minimum of three (3) days a week Monday - Friday.
    • Your scheduled availability will need to remain the same from one week to the next, meaning, you cannot be constantly changing when your available. We will need a set schedule from you. We do not allow for "flex-scheduling" like you would find with Uber or DoorDash where you can turn your availability on or off whenever you feel like it.

    We'd like to put a face to the name & application. Please upload a selfie photo / pic. IMPORTANT: If you upload anything OTHER than a face pic (a black/blank screen, a copy of your resume, a pic of your pet or a group photo where we can't figure out who you are, etc. etc.) your application will be immediately rejected upon receipt.
