Do you want any kind of photo editing or color restoration? Note: this would only be done on those photos that need major work. This is included in the slide scanning process. Extra charge on regular photographs.

Regarding photos in albums: I understand and agree that Stacey is not responsible for scanning duplicate photos if they are in the photo albums multiple times. Also, if a photo is in a fragile state and Stacey feels uncomfortable attempting to remove it, she will attempt to take a photo of the photo in question for your records which will more than likely result in needing special editing done.

Regarding transitions between photos in the video:

Are you going to have the slides/photos in a particular order or do you want us to just scan in and then you put into order for the video?

For the video, Stacey will discuss with you what she thinks would be the best option for your format. If you use a "special themed template" then there is an additional cost of $50. For examples, please reference the videos on the website www.CreativeLegacyMedia.com or on our Facebook page.

I understand that while scanning the slides/photos, if a slide/photo is blurry or over processed or under processed, it will still be scanned.

Stacey highly recommends using an External Passport Drive Western Digital My Passport Go External HDD 2TB instead of using a regular flash drive. You can put additional copies on flash drives but it is highly recommended that your main copy be put on an external passport drive. At this time, the passport can be purchased from Wal-Mart for $145.45 with tax 9 (you can supply or Stacey can add to price of order). Stacey is currently trying to obtain resources for her customers at discounted prices. NEW POLICY: All orders with multiple files or large files must be put on External Hard drives.

MEDIA CONVERSION LIABILITY WAIVER & ACKNOWLEDGMENTI understand that the photographs, slides, videotapes, film, audio recordings, and/or other media I provide to Stacey Spitler / Creative Legacy Media may be aged, fragile, deteriorated, damaged, defective, or otherwise subject to failure due to their age, condition, previous storage, handling, or normal deterioration over time.I understand that Creative Legacy Media will exercise reasonable care in the handling, preservation, scanning, playback, conversion, and return of my original media. However, the condition and stability of older media cannot be guaranteed.I acknowledge that VHS tapes, Beta tapes, film, photographs, slides, and other aging media may contain deterioration or damage that is not visible prior to processing. Such media may break, tear, jam, stick, shed, deteriorate, become unreadable, or otherwise sustain damage during normal handling, playback, scanning, or conversion, despite reasonable care.I understand that Stacey Spitler / Creative Legacy Media cannot guarantee that all media will be successfully converted, recovered, restored, enhanced, or playable.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to release and hold harmless Stacey Spitler / Creative Legacy Media from claims for loss or damage to the submitted media arising from its pre-existing condition, age, deterioration, hidden defects, or risks inherent in the normal conversion or preservation process, except to the extent caused by conduct for which liability cannot legally be waived.I understand that the digital conversion or restoration of my media does not guarantee permanent preservation of the resulting digital files. I am responsible for maintaining appropriate backup copies of all completed digital files after they are delivered to me.I certify that I own the submitted media or have permission from the owner to authorize its duplication, conversion, restoration, and/or reproduction.By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Media Conversion Liability Waiver and voluntarily authorize Creative Legacy Media to perform the requested services.

Before starting the project, Stacey will contact you for a consultation and discussion about the project. She will then send over a quote for the project for your approval. $100 deposit required for the Digital Preservation and Memory Collection Packages to begin which will be applied to the final cost. Deposit of $300 is required on the Legacy Video Package.
