MUSICSIAN / BAND APPLICATION & SELECTION PROCESS
The 2019 Merion Village Festival will be held on Sunday, September 8th from 12 to 6 PM, at Moeller Park (261 Hanford Street, Columbus, OH 43206). This annual, outdoor, rain or shine festival will continue to celebrate artists, crafters, local businesses and organizations as well as the beautiful and vibrant atmosphere of the Historic Merion Village neighborhood. All proceeds from this event benefit the Merion Village Association, a 501(c)(3) civic organization.
All musicians/bands selected to perform at this event do so on a volunteer basis. Each musician/band selected will play a 40-minute set with 10 minutes before and after to setup and teardown your equipment. Our event is exclusively outdoor, so we will provide a 20' X 10' canopy for all performers and electricity will be limited to basic equipment. The final lineup of performers will be listed on our event poster and in our social media promotions.
Final selection and time slot consideration will be given based on the date applications and attendance confirmations are completed. As such, we highly suggest early applications. We will contact you via e-mail to confirm whether or not we would like you to perform at our event by Monday, July 8th. If selected, confirmation of attendance must be received in response to our invitation within 3 days or another performer will be asked to attend in your place.
