Understanding the Formation of Protectors Through An Attachment Lens with Added EMDR Application
This course explores Internal Family Systems (IFS) through an attachment-informed framework, with integration across the 8 phases of EMDR. Participants will learn how early relational experiences shape protective strategies and influence how needs, emotions, and connection show up in both internal systems and therapeutic relationships.

Rather than pathologizing symptoms or attachment patterns, this course reframes them as adaptive responses designed to preserve safety and connection. Clinicians will gain practical ways to conceptualize parts, support internal secure attachment, and apply this lens across EMDR phases from history-taking through integration.

This course is well-suited for therapists who integrate IFS, attachment-based, trauma-informed, or IFS+EMDR Integration and are looking for a clearer, more relational way to work with complex systems.
