About the 'Hosted At' programme
'Hosted At' is a space to pilot new, informal arts events.
This programme invites creatives to independently trial their own events in our building, supporting our ambitions and connecting the local community of South Essex beyond our core programme.
This form invites event proposals to take place at Metal's Southend site :
Chalkwell Hall, Chalkwell Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, SS0 8NB.
Have you always wanted to put on a gig in an unusual setting?
Do you want to trial a one-off theatre production or comedy night?
Written a book and want to celebrate with a launch?
Rather than offering recurring venue bookings, 'Hosted At' encourages creatives to use our space and test new ideas, build interest, explore socially engaged practice and consider underrepresented communities. We will prioritise event proposals which celebrate the arts and bring people together.
