• 2026-2027 Student Assistance Request

    Student Assistance is a financial needs-based service provided by The Foundation for students in good standing with Metro Tech.
  • Requirements for Requesting Assistance 

    • Student must be enrolled in and actively attending Metro Tech a minimum of 30 days before making request (exception: non-tuition uniform supplies).
    • Student must be in good standing with Metro Tech.
    • Student must demonstrate an adequate financial need for assistance.
  • *Please note that requests may take up to 2 weeks to be processed and The Metro Tech Foundation has the final right to approve or deny requests.*

  • Additional Information for utility, medical, home and automotive requests:

    • Student Emergency Assistance will only be provided one time during your enrollment at Metro Tech and overall requests must be $500 or less. 
    • Home, utility or automotive bills - Provide past due, eviction, or cut off notice. 
    • Automotive repairs - upload the quote from the repair shop and please note that reimbursements from The Metro Tech Foundation to students cannot be made. 
    • Medical bills - Must be itemized and/or show documentation of what service/procedure was provided to student.
    • Without uploading the appropriate required supporting documents, The Metro Tech Foundation reserves the right to automatically decline assistance.

  • Additional Information for Certifications:

    • Certification Requests will be provided one time during your enrollment at Metro Tech & overall requests must be $300 or less, unless otherwise approved by The Foundation.
  • Additional Information for Non-Tuition Supplies:

    • Non-tuition uniform/supplies will be provided one time during your enrollment at Metro Tech & overall requests must be $100 or less, unless otherwise approved by The Foundation.
  • Below is an example of a bill. The information highlighted and circled in blue shows most of what we need your bill to show. *this is just an example and your bill may not look EXACTLY like the same.

  • Payments for approved requests will be made directly to the vendor matching the invoice or bill provided. No payments will be made to the student or other individuals not affiliated with the vendor.

     

    If incorrect documentation is provided the first time, the application will be denied until correct documentation can be provided by the student. Once provided with correct documents, The Metro Tech Foundation can move forward with processing the case.
