While Metropawlitan Dog Training will make every effort in handling each dog/handler team with the greatest degree and amount of care, I understand that attendance of a dog Obedience or behavior modification training class is not without risk to myself, to members of my family or guests who may attend, or to my dog(s), because some of the dogs which I will be exposed tomay be difficult to control, and may be the cause of injury. I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in dog training activities with Metropawlitan Dog Training activities with knowledge of its potential risks.

I agree to hold Metropawlitan Dog Training, the instructor(s), its associates, the facility, training grounds and surrounding areas, and all shareholders harmless for any claims for any loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person (including but not limited to myself, children in my charge, or guests attending in my company) or thing by the act of my dog or another dog while in or upon the training area, or near the entrance thereto, and I personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. I further agree to hold the aforementioned party (ies) harmless for any claim for damage or injury to my dog, whether such loss, theft, disappearance, damage, or injury can be caused or be alleged to be caused directly or indirectly, through action or inaction of self or others, by acts that might occur in dog training classes, any other format of training activities or secondary training without trainer present or engaged.

I understand that all dogs are different and progress at different rates. While the trainers at Metropawlitan Dog Training will make every attempt to help me train my dog to the best of their ability, I understand that I must continue training at home in the format that was presented to me or my dog may revert back to previous behaviors.

I, further understand that due to the physical nature of any dog training session I attend with Metropawlitan Dog Training I believe I have the physical conditioning and the degree of skill and coordination for me to engage in these activities safely. I understand that I have responsibilities to control my dog around other people and dogs. I agree to abide by to these responsibilities, and will ensure the same of my companions or guests.

I understand that the instructors at Metropawlitan Dog Training reserves the right to expel or remove dogs from classes or terminate training sessions if the dog exhibits overly aggressive or dangerous qualities, appears to be ill, or if dogs or I or my attending guests, family members, or children in my charge otherwise cause(s) distractions in class, or are unable to control my dog in a safe manner in the sole discretion and judgment of the instructors and/or above releasees. I also understand that at the sole discretion of the instructors at Metropawlitan Dog Training, I may be asked to transfer from a group class to private training, and agree to be responsible for the additional costs of such services should I choose to enroll.

 

I also understand that class policies are as follows:

 

Class enrollment fees must be paid in full prior to or at the beginning of any class or class series I choose to partake in. Registration is not guaranteed until full payment has been accepted, and classes are non refundable.

 

Make-up classes are available at a cost of $25 per half hour. Make up classes must be made within 6 days of the missed class.

 

I further agree that this Agreement is binding for this and any subsequent classes that I attend.
