Glenorchy City Council (GCC) and Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) are proud to present Moonah Sounds of the World (MSOTW) a concert series celebrating the rich diversity of culture, music, story and dance in Tasmania, featuring our local multicultural communities.
We are seeking expressions of interest from a diverse range of performers, musicians, dancers, storytellers and DJ's, etc. We highly encourage people from Aboriginal, First Nations and CALD communities to apply.
MAC is an inclusive, welcoming and safe space for everyone. And all our shows embrace all ages.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
MSOTW is a series of shows presented every Saturday night in March.
Tickets are set at $20/$15 concession per person. Seating capacity is set at 120.
Depending on the numbers and type of acts being presented, the format may differ.
Doors and bar will open 7:30pm and each show commences at 8pm.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Performers will be engaged via a partnership agreement with MAC, offering a guaranteed artist fee and a share of the box office. Merch sales are encouraged.
MAC provides professional audio mixing, lighting operation and front of house staff.
Backline is not provided.

During the day of March 25th, MAC will be hosting a free Harmony Week family event in conjunction with the Moonah Bazaar Market. This will include food and craft stalls, music, dance, storytelling and activities.
