  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1: ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION: Student must be at least 6 years of age. No prior musical experience is required and must have own insturment, Laptop or Tablet and internet connection. Once the registration form is received and processed, students will be notified of their enrolment status.
    2: FEES AND PAYMENT: Tution fees must be paid in full on or before the 5th of each month. A late fee of $10 will be incured if tuition is not received within 10 working days of the first class for the month .
    3: REFUNDS: We do not offer refunds for missed classes. However, any missed classes can be rescheduled and added to the following month’s schedule as a make-up session.
    4: ABSENTEEISM : We understand that life happens! However, if you're unable to attend a session, please inform us in advance. Absences without prior notice will be marked as Absent/No Show. We allow up to 3 rescheduled classes per month, so you have some flexibility if something unexpected comes up. If you’re feeling unwell, please let us know in advance, to reschedule your missed classes. Planning a vacation? No problem! Just fill out a Freeze Class Form to secure your spot and ensure any missed classes can be compensated. You can reschedule classes up to 4 times per year.
    5: TERMINATION AND DISMISAL: Students may be dismissed from the program for reasons including, but not limited to, repeated unexcused absences, non-payment of tuition fees, or misconduct that disrupts the class environment. Dismissal decisions are made at the school’s discretion to ensure a positive and constructive learning experience for all participants.
    6: RESCHEDULING OF SESSIONS: Rescheduled sessions will be added on top of your regular lesson schedule, so you won’t miss out. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred times for make-up sessions, but please note that availability will depend on open slots. If we don’t receive prior notice for an absence, that session cannot be rescheduled.
    7: SCHEDULE LOCK: If your holiday is less than one month, we’ll keep your regular schedule on hold. For breaks longer than one month, we’ll set a new schedule based on availability when you return.
    8: PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: If a class falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed later day and time.
    9: ADMISSION OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS: While we aim to be as inclusive as possible, we currently aren’t licensed to provide specialised training for students with special needs, and our instructors aren’t certified to handle such cases.
    10: AGREEMENT: By signing below, i acknowledge that i have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. 
  • SO WHATS NEXT.....

    Pre-Class Setup:

    1.⁠ ⁠Create a Zoom account (if you haven't already).
    2.⁠ ⁠Download and install Zoom on your device (laptop)
    3.⁠ ⁠Familiarize yourself with Zoom settings and features.
    4.⁠ ⁠Choose a quiet, well-lit space
    5.⁠ ⁠Have a good quality audio equipment (headphones/microphone).
    6.⁠ ⁠⁠keep the instrument in a proper viewing angle for the teacher to be able to see both hands at all times.
    7.⁠ ⁠⁠lighting must face the student, so no shadow is on the face or the instrument
    8.⁠ ⁠⁠WIFI connection must be good


    Student Side:

    1.⁠ ⁠Receive meeting link and details from teacher.
    2.⁠ ⁠⁠Join meeting: Click meeting link, enter meeting ID and password (if required).
    3.⁠ ⁠⁠Configure audio settings:
    - Select audio input (e.g., built-in microphone or external device).
    - Test audio to ensure clear sound.

    During Class:

    1.⁠ ⁠Start meeting: Teacher starts the meeting, admits students from waiting room.
    2.⁠ ⁠Share screen (if necessary): Share sheet music, tutorials, or software.
    3.⁠ ⁠Use audio/video controls:
    - Mute/unmute audio.
    - Switch between video and audio-only.
    4.⁠ ⁠Engage with students:
    - Use chat or audio for feedback and questions.
    - Encourage student participation.

    Post-Class:

    1.⁠ ⁠End meeting: Teacher concludes the session.
    2.⁠ ⁠Follow-
    - Provide additional resources or assignments.
    - Gather feedback.

    Tips:

    •⁠ ⁠Test equipment and internet connection before class.
    •⁠ ⁠Use headphones to minimize echo and ensure clear audio.
    •⁠ ⁠Encourage students to use headphones or earbuds.
    •⁠ ⁠Consider using additional tools (e.g., screen sharing software) for enhanced learning
